2007 Tomatoes Coaches
Hilary Flint
Hilary Flint is the head
coach of the Meadowbrook Tomatoes. She
is a
full-time Kindergarten teacher at
McDonogh School. She began as a Tomato
as a seven year old and continued to
competitively swim with NBAC for 12
years finishing her swimming career at
Loyola College in Maryland. At
Meadowbrook, she has taught group and
private lessons as well as coached
in an assistant or head coach capacity
for 14 years.
Mike Ginder
Mike is glad to be returning to the
Tomatoes for a second summer. After
graduating in 2007 from Washington and
Lee University, he became the assistant
coach for both the men and women swim
teams at W&L. While at W&L, Mike earned
All-American honors all four years and
was team captain his senior year.
Meredith Holmgren
Meredith has been teaching and coaching
swimmers for more than ten years. She is
originally from Boston, and started
working at Meadowbrook when she moved to
Baltimore to pursue a graduate degree in
psychology. Meredith also likes running
and yoga.
Emily Goetsch
Emily
recently graduated from the
University of Southern California
where she swam for four years,
earning All-American honors and
serving at the team captain in her senior year. Before heading west,
she swam at NBAC and attended Roland
Park Country School. She is excited
to be back in Baltimore and working
with the Tomatoes this summer!
Sarah Ali
Sarah has been teaching and coaching
swimmers for over 10 years in her
hometown of Toronto, Canada, and is
excited to be joining the Tomato
coaching team this year. In the past
Sarah has run swim improvement programs
at schools, and has been an aquatic
supervisor at a private swim school. She
is currently a full-time physical
education and health teacher at
Patterson High School, where she also
coaches the school team. |
